About the job

Every software company is talking about AI right now. Almost none of them are worth watching. v1be is an AI growth platform, and we think the fastest way to build a brand in this category is to make the building itself something people follow.

We are building v1be around a bigger vision: growth should work as one intelligent system that remembers the brand, learns from every signal, and gives ambitious small teams the leverage to create far beyond their size with AI. Your job is to turn that into short-form content people stop scrolling for — founders on camera, formats nobody in B2B software is trying yet, and the latitude to test them before anyone else does.

We are two young co-founders, and we are honest about the stage: v1be is early and pre-revenue, so there is no content machine to plug into. There is a blank page, a product worth talking about, and the chance to define a creative language from the very first video.

What you will work on

  • Create short-form video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels.
  • Turn product ideas, founder insights, AI developments, startup culture, and everyday observations into engaging content concepts.
  • Develop hooks, scripts, story structures, and visual ideas that make people stop scrolling.
  • Appear on camera and help give v1be a more human, recognizable presence.
  • Shoot vertical content with clean framing, good lighting, clear audio, and strong delivery.
  • Edit videos with simple cuts, captions, pacing, zooms, music, or other lightweight techniques when useful.
  • Create supporting visual content such as photos, behind-the-scenes material, and simple social assets.
  • Collaborate closely with the Founding Brand & Community Intern on briefs, content themes, priorities, and feedback.
  • Follow emerging formats, creators, internet culture, and platform behavior without blindly copying trends.
  • Experiment, learn from audience response, and help improve what we create over time.

You might be a fit if

  • You are a university student, recent graduate, or early-career creative interested in content, media, marketing, design, filmmaking, social media, or digital culture.
  • You are comfortable being on camera or genuinely willing to become comfortable with it.
  • You understand what makes short-form content engaging.
  • You have a good sense of storytelling, pacing, framing, and visual taste.
  • You can take a rough idea and turn it into something clear, entertaining, and watchable.
  • You understand internet culture and naturally notice creators, formats, trends, and emerging content styles.
  • You are interested in AI, startups, SaaS, technology, and digital products.
  • You are curious, experimental, and comfortable trying ideas that may not work.
  • You can receive feedback without becoming overly attached to the first version of an idea.

Basic editing ability is enough. You do not need to be an advanced video editor. We care more about your creative instincts, personality, judgment, and ability to create engaging content.

This role might not be for you if

  • You want to repost announcements or execute a finished content calendar without shaping the ideas.
  • You want to chase every trend or focus mainly on highly polished cinematic edits.
  • You are not willing to appear on camera, experiment with formats, or revise work after feedback.

What you will gain

  • Direct collaboration with the founders.
  • Hands-on experience creating content for an early-stage technology startup.
  • Real creative ownership rather than purely execution-based tasks.
  • The chance to experiment with different formats, platforms, and creative directions.
  • Regular feedback on concepts, hooks, scripts, filming, editing, and content performance.
  • Published work you can include in your portfolio.
  • Experience working closely with brand, community, and startup strategy.
  • The opportunity to help shape v1be's creative language from zero to one.

Compensation and future opportunities

v1be is currently pre-revenue, so this is a time-bound, unpaid internship. We want to be completely transparent about that from the beginning.

As v1be begins generating sustainable revenue or secures funding, our intention is to prioritize the people who helped build the company at this early stage for paid roles, with fair and market-aligned compensation based on their contribution and responsibilities.

While we cannot guarantee a future offer today, exceptional work will not go unseen.
