1. Disconnect the integration
If the connection is available in your v1be dashboard, open the relevant Account or Channels area, choose the connected Meta account and select Disconnect. This stops future access and attempts to revoke the related Meta permission.
You can also remove v1be directly in Facebook under Settings & privacy, Settings, Business integrations. Removing the integration stops future API access, but it may not delete information previously stored by v1be. Complete step 2 if you also want stored data deleted.
Open Facebook Business Integrations2. Send a deletion request
Send an email to hello@v1be.io from the email address associated with your v1be account. Use the subject “Data deletion request” and include the following:
- Your full name and v1be account email.
- The company or workspace name, if applicable.
- The connected Facebook Page, Instagram professional account or Meta ad account name or ID.
- Whether you want only Meta integration data deleted or your entire v1be account deleted.
3. Verification and timing
To protect your account, we may ask you to confirm ownership using the account email or another limited verification step. Do not send passwords, access tokens or payment-card details.
We will acknowledge the request and complete verified deletion without undue delay, normally within 30 days. We will email you when the process is complete or explain if applicable law requires a longer period.
4. What we delete
A verified Meta-data deletion request removes the active connection and stored access tokens, connected Meta identifiers, imported account and campaign data, publishing connection records and related personal support data that is no longer required.
A full account deletion also removes your v1be profile and workspace personal data, subject to the limited retention described below. Content or ads already published on Meta remain on Meta until you delete them there.
5. Limited information we may retain
We may retain the minimum information required for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution or other legal obligations. Data in protected backups is removed through the normal backup rotation and is not restored to active systems except for disaster recovery.
Any retained information remains protected and is not used for marketing or to reconnect your Meta accounts.
6. Removing content from Meta
Deleting data from v1be does not automatically delete posts, campaigns, ads or other content already created on Facebook or Instagram. Manage or delete those items in the relevant Meta product. You may also use Meta’s own account and privacy tools for data controlled by Meta.
